that once we grew old,
we could have a say and have things our own way?

Adulthood was a trap. Constant misconceptions of what truly meant to be an adult. The amount of responsibilities, life-changing decisions and uncertainties is far from what I had ever expected.

I say we were all lied to as children. Sugar-coating started with our parents.
